Transitional Housing for Survivors
Funded by the Department of Justice, Office of Violence Against Women (OVW), and Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), FCR’s Transitional Housing and Rapid Re-housing Projects provide advocacy, case management, and flexible financial assistance such as rental support for survivors who are homeless or at imminent risk of being homeless.
Based on a “self-sufficiency” model, survivors may access resources for job training, budgeting help, resume writing, and other life skills training to maximize their ability to live independently. The Transitional Housing Program is not accepting referrals until October 1, 2023.
