Family Based Support and Stabilization Supervised Family Time facilitates visits between children in the custody of the Department of Children and Families and their biological parents.
Who is This For?
Children new born to 18 years old who are in the care of the Department of Children and Families
Parents looking to reconnect and strengthen their relationships with their children, and who want to learn safe ways to spend quality time with their children
The Family Time Program provides a safe and healthy environment for families to interact in. The program is staffed by caring, compassionate professionals who are experienced in mediating visits between children and parents. The team of visitation monitors help create structured family time and provide parenting education and coping mechanisms before, during, and after visits.

Program staff will provide transportation assistance, and organize times that work with the schedules of all parties.
Parents must be referred by DCF to utilize Supervised Family Time Services. Reports on visits will be sent to case lead at DCF, and can be made available to others only with subpoena.
