Community Presentation: Youth Workers Rights!

we love making new community connections!

With multiple teen peer leaders taking their talents to college and beyond (we’ll miss you) we had to do some recruiting!

FCR is so excited to announce that this fall we have a full group of new peer leaders, eager and ready to learn and get out into the community.

The Healthy Relationships Peer Leaders will spend the semester showing teenagers in their community and beyond how to identify red and green flags in a relationship, setting boundaries, positive communication, having empathy for others, and of course dating abuse prevention.

We got off to an amazing start to another program year with a special guest presentation by Yarlennys from the MA Attorney General’s office who taught us all about our rights as youth workers, and how to make sure that we are protected and confident in the workplace.

A special thanks to Yarlennys and the Attorney General’s office who has allowed our new peer leaders to get started early this year and get started with their healthy relationship projects!
