Stonehill College Community Engagement Day 8-26-19

The students are back! FCR staff participated in Stonehill’s Community Engagement Day as part of Freshman orientation to introduce students to the work of FCR, and to discuss ways they can engage with FCR in our mission to support survivors of Domestic Violence.

Under the direction of Felicia Cafua ‘22, a Community Engagement Program Volunteer, students took what they learned from the conversation to create a poster highlighting key messages. The Community Engagement Program at Stonehill, run through the Campus Ministry Office, “invites students to go into the local community to experience different cultures, to create relationships, and to work alongside those in need in order to create a more just and compassionate world.” FCR has had a long and wonderful relationship with the Stonehill community and we look forward to working with their amazing students again this year!
