Receptionist/Case Manager

Community based non-profit organization is seeking a passionate, creative, motivated, flexible person for the role of Receptionist/Case Manager. The Receptionist/Case Manage will work with and provide office support, data entry and case management duties to our Visitation, Intimate Partner Abuse Education, and Development programs.

Responsibilities

  • Providing front desk coverage (answering phones, monitoring answering service portal, checking in clients, etc.)

  • Data entry into agency database and server

  • Take confirmation calls and notify appropriate staff

  • Scanning, uploading, copying and collating agency documents

  • Insurance eligibility verification as needed

  • Notify the Chief Operating Officer of any building maintenance issues and tracking progress of resolutions

  • Filing of client-related documents, copying records, maintaining agency files, including cataloging and storage of closed case files

  • Assist during emergency situations

  • Perform opening/closing procedures, cleaning and organizing waiting area as needed throughout the day

  • Monitor and submit supply order requests to the Chief Operating Officer

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must have cultural awareness and experience working and interacting with diverse populations

  • At least 3 years’ office experience

  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Must be highly organized, reliable and dependable         

  • Solid understanding of HIPAA, confidentiality and privacy practices is required

  • Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

  • Valid Driver’s License required

Hours: This position is full-time at 35 hours per week (Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm). Occasional flexibility is required to meet coverage needs.

Salary Range: $21-24 per hour
