Your involvement is critical in helping us carry out our mission of serving families and individuals impacted by trauma and violence. 

We have many ways for you to lend a hand in our organization - both virtually and in person!

Our goal: To engage a diverse group of individuals to become long term volunteers in all areas of FCR programming so that we can inspire healthier communities free from family and community violence.  Through our work in support of vulnerable populations, one day all children and adults will be able to thrive in a safe, just, and equitable world.

 Programs and Services Volunteer*:

  • Visitation Services

  • Teen Healthy Relationships

  • Mental Health Services

  • Domestic Violence Advocacy Services

Fundraising & Events Volunteer- Assist with planning and coordinating fundraising and community events.

Education and Outreach Volunteer - Connect with community partners to help plan informational events and spread awareness

Marketing/Social Media Volunteer - Assist the development team with social media posts, virtual outreach, and graphic design

Skill-Based Volunteer -We are always looking for more opportunities for us and our clients! Have a special expertise that you would like to teach, or share with us and our community? Let us know! We would love to host a training, a webinar, or work with you individually to see how we can benefit our community and our clients.

Administrative Office Volunteer - Assist with various office projects, supporting administrative office team and helping out both in-person and virtually with office-related maintenance

Project-Based Volunteer (s) -FCR is always working on different projects throughout the year both in our main office and satellite locations, and out in the community throughout the year.   We love to explore to new ideas! So, if you have a project or activity you would like to share let us know!

Corporate Groups & School Based Groups - If your group is interested in getting involved in helping us with fundraising and events, facility improvements, donation drives, etc., give us a call!

*Please note that some opportunities require completion of a 35 Hour DV & Program Training (which will be offered virtually through FCR beginning June 1, 2021) ; All client facing volunteers must also pass a background check.
